We believe that Church functions best when we all play our part. Joining a team at SML is a great way to grow, meet new people, learn new skills and feel like you belong.
There are many ways to get involved and whatever your skills, spiritual gifts or passions are, there is a place for you.
Welcome Team
The Welcome team play a key role in our Sunday services providing a warm, friendly face to all who come. They act as the face of the church, helping everyone to feel that they belong at SML.
If you are a bubbly, outgoing person who loves to connect with people then this is the team for you.

Worship Team
Worship is a big part of our services and events at SML, with a diverse collection of services and various events during the year there is opportunity to be involved in different styles of worship.
If you play an instrument or sing, we would love to hear from you.

Reach Ministries
Reach Ministries is the collective name for our outreach, with a variety of teams under this umbrella. You could get involved with The Recovery Course, Alpha, Cafe@SML, serving the homeless and many more.
If you are an outgoing person, who loves to nurture relationships and get to know those outside of our Sunday services then we would love to hear from you.

Kid's Team
The amazing Kids’ team serve on Sunday mornings, encouraging children to continue in their journey of faith, have fun and build relationships at SML. There are four groups; Gems (ages 2-4), Ground Shakers (Reception – Year 2), Pulse (Year 3-4) and Imapct (Year 5-6).
If you have a passion to invest in the next generation, this is the team for you.

Youth Team
The incredible Youth team serve on Sundays and mid-week across three age groups; Younger Youth (years 7-8), Older Youth (years 9-11), and Sixth & Up (years 12-13).
If you have a passion to see the young people know Jesus for themselves, this is the team for you.

Facilities Team
The facilities team help with keeping the church grounds looking nice, they assist with weeding and gardening to make sure that the church and grounds are looking the best they can.
If you are a practical, hands-on person, then this team is for you.

Refresh Team
The Refresh Team are a friendly face at each service, as well as some events, and grow friendships while making drinks. They do this through serving tea and coffee at each of our Sunday services every week.
If you like to meet people, and can make a drink then do get in touch with us.

Hospitality Team
So much of what we do at church creates community with the help of food. A number of our courses include meals.
Our hospitality teams are welcoming and committed people who like to create delicious meals and lasting relationships within our church community.
If you like to cook, or be part of the kitchen we would love to hear from you.

Production Team
The production team is there to facilitate our services and events, looking after the sound and visuals.
If you are interested in running the sound desk, the visual output in church, or the live stream then we’d love to talk to you.
