From Sunday 25th July we will be offering three different services each week:
8:45am | Holy Communion
This will be a simple Holy Communion Service lasting about 30 minutes, including a very short talk, with Communion of ‘one kind’- that is only bread/wafers. We’ll be following Church of England guidance about when it’s safe to offer wine again.
10:00am | Sunday Service
Our 10.00am service will continue and will involve All-Age Worship on Sun 1 August and 5 September, with packs provided for children on the other weeks.
6:30 | The Six30
Our Six30 evening service also continues throughout the summer with community gathering options afterwards.
How will we do this?
We are excited to be able to re-gather more freely as a church family and we are thrilled to be able to sing once again! We will continue to strongly encourage mask wearing in church, especially when singing, although this is not obligatory. We have increased our seating capacity as we plan for a phased relaxing of restrictions. The side aisles will be reserved as 'socially distanced zones' where we ask people to maintain social distancing, wear masks and priority will be given when leaving the service. Please indicate to a warden if you wish to sit here.
It would be really helpful if you continue to sign up for our services as this helps us with our planning (names will be deleted after the service). We will also have the NHS Test and Trace QR codes available for your use but neither of these are compulsory.
Please be assured that we will continue to assess the ongoing risks and government guidance.
We so look forward to welcoming you on Sunday and if you are new to SML please do chat to one of the team, we would love to get to know you better.
